6 Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise

Let's cruise aboard Carnival Mardi Gras

Carnival Mardi Gras will be a 5,200-passenger ship, and the largest vessel in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet when it debuts in 2021 In a first for the line, Mardi Gras will feature six themed “zones,” including the French Quarter, Summer Landing, Grand Central and the Ultimate Playground. The name of the ship is a throwback to Carnival Cruise Line’s first-ever ship, which retired in 1993.

French Quarter: This zone, styled after New Orelans’ French Quarter, will be lined with new-to-Carnival bars, restaurants and music venues, including a jazz club offering live entertainment and handcrafted cocktails.

Summer Landing: An expanded Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse will be the highlight at Summer Landing, a backyard barbecue-style space that also will feature a pool and hot tubs, a new-to-Carnival bar, a Smokehouse Brewhouse lunch counter, and an abundance of lounging space.

Grand Central: Instead of Carnival’s traditional atrium, Mardi Gras will have Grand Central, an entertainment complex with three-deck-high floor-to-ceiling windows and a bar with sweeping ocean views. It’s also where passengers will find expanded versions of the line’s popular eateries Bonsai Sushi and Bonsai Teppanyaki. Additional Grand Central venues will include the Punchliner Comedy Club and a revamped Piano Bar 88.

La Piazza: In this Italy-inspired zone passengers can grab a bite at another Carnival favorite, Cucina del Capitano, as well as an all-new Mediterranean seafood restaurant. There also will be a bar selling specialty coffee (including cappuccinos) during the day and cocktails at night, while roaming musicians will provide entertainment

On a Carnival cruise, your have several options for your home base.

There is the  Interior Ocean View,  Balcony or Suite.
This staterooms have a room steward on duty, an attendant you can call for complimentary room service, and more sweet perks inside.

INTERIOR CABIN

Here’s the most affordable way to experience the ship without cutting even a single corner in the comfort department. With an Interior stateroom you’ll get a full private bathroom, your choice of bed size and layout — covered in linens you can feel at home in — all of which make this truly a great spot for curling up after a long day’s fun.

OCEANVIEW CABIN

These comfy rooms with a view let you take in the scenery as you sail toward your beautiful destinations. And how about those views? Nowhere on land will you find anything like ‘em. But the views aren’t all that matters here — Ocean View staterooms on Carnival Mardi Gras are a little bit bigger than Interior rooms and most feature a supremely lounge-able couch for those times when neither lying nor standing will do.

BALCONY CABIN

Balcony staterooms are proof that while it’s great to be cruis on vacation, breeziness is a virtue too. And any time you’re in your well-appointed Balcony stateroom aboard Carnival Mardi Gras, you’re just steps away from the outdoors by way of your private open-air oasis. Designed for kicking back al fresco, you’re in for some amazing ocean views… views so stunning you’ll just have to feel ‘em to believe ‘em.

SAS Enhance your experience with the Havana Suites

At Carnival we love to cruise as much as anyone, but when you book a Havana stateroom, it’s like you’re no longer on a ship… you’re at an exclusive island resort. But unlike most spots on land, you’re never far from the ocean… or from the Havana Bar & Pool. (You’ll enjoy exclusive access to the pool area!) Inside, all Havana staterooms feature a unique décor, but step up to a Havana Cabana for an extra-large outdoor chill space featuring a lounge-ready hammock chair. Step into a Havana  Cruisers staying in Havana Cabana cabins get exclusive use of the aft Havana pool, hot tubs and outdoor bar 24/7, a boost  for anyone who has ever struggled to find a lounger by the main pool — especially on a sea day. (Havana Cabanas also receive special Havana-themed Elemis bath products.)

Most Havana Cabana cabins are located along the right and left backend of Deck 5 and feature a floor-to-ceiling window with sliding door that opens to a private outdoor patio. The patios, which are 100 square feet, are enclosed by a low white gate, and face a section of the outdoor promenade that encircles all of Deck 5. Patios feature a single swing chair, two loungers and a small table. A locked gate separates the Havana section of the promenade from the rest of the ship so looky-loos can’t wander by. A handful of Havana cabins are located on decks 6 and 7 and have enlarged balconies rather than patios; these cabins also include access to the pool. All Havana passengers must be 12 years old or older
